1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Getcodexa, operated by Getcodexa, Inc. ("Getcodexa," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile app, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. Description of the Services
Getcodexa is a gamified ICD-10 learning platform designed to help healthcare students and professionals learn, practice, and master ICD-10-CM coding through interactive challenges, quizzes, and scenario-based exercises.
Our Services may include:
- Educational content, quizzes, and case-based coding scenarios;
- Gamified features (e.g., badges, leaderboards, progress tracking);
- Mobile app access, pilot programs, and web-based content;
- Analytics and progress reports for users or academic partners.
3. Eligibility
To use the Getcodexa app or website, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
- Have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms; and
- Use the Services only for lawful educational or professional purposes.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an educational institution or employer, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
4. User Accounts
Some features require registration or account creation. You agree to:

- Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials; and
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized use or security concerns.
Getcodexa reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Getcodexa grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, educational, or institutional learning purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, or modify any content;
- Use the Services for commercial resale or unauthorized instruction;
- Reverse-engineer or interfere with app code or security;
- Share, sell, or transfer user access or content;
- Post harmful, offensive, or misleading content within any community or feedback features.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, graphics, design elements, quizzes, badges, and materials within the Services are owned or licensed by Getcodexa, Inc. They are protected under U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, republish, or use them without prior written permission.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
If you purchase a paid feature, course, or subscription plan, your payments are processed securely through Stripe or other approved third-party providers.
All purchases are subject to applicable taxes and terms displayed at checkout. Subscription renewals may be billed automatically unless canceled in accordance with app or platform policies.
Getcodexa does not store credit card or banking information.
8. Academic and Pilot Programs
If you participate in an academic pilot or institutional partnership:
- Participation data may be shared with instructors or administrators in aggregated or performance-report form;
- You agree that your progress may contribute to research or product improvement;
- Institutional access is subject to additional agreements between Getcodexa and your school or program.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Getcodexa provides its Services "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, about accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We do not guarantee that:
- The Services will always be available or error-free;
- Results or learning outcomes will meet specific certification requirements; or
- Any errors will be corrected immediately.
Users should always verify coding guidance against official ICD-10-CM resources.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Getcodexa, Inc., and its officers, employees, or advisors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, revenue, or professional opportunity.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Services is to discontinue use.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Getcodexa, Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Services;
- Violation of these Terms; or
- Infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to your account or Services at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity.
Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately end.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of Getcodexa's Services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Wyoming.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted with a new "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
